Position Overview:
We seek a creative and dynamic Full-Time Marketing Assistant to join our luxury travel advisory team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel and a knack for social media trends, video creation, and copywriting. This role requires a proactive individual who can support our marketing efforts and collaborate closely with our team to elevate our brand presence across various platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Video Creation and Ideas:
- Ideate, create and post engaging Reels and TikToks for our channels.
- Utilize relevant video trends and audio to position us as experts on both platforms.
- Develop innovative video content ideas to enhance our brand visibility.
- Copywriting Support:
- Assist with writing compelling and engaging copy for social media, blogs, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate on blog posts, potentially ramping up to 2-3 posts per week, providing support while allowing leadership on copy and ideas.
- Trend Analysis and Reporting:
- Pull relevant trends from Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Threads, and LinkedIn.
- Create and present monthly analytics reports for social media channels, lead, and email campaign performance.
- Influencer Marketing Assistance:
- Assist with influencer marketing initiatives, including ideation and collaboration.
- Help identify and engage with influencers that align with our brand values.
- Content Scheduling and Management:
- Help with scheduling content across all social media platforms.
- Ensure consistent and timely posting of content to maintain an active online presence.
- Collaboration and Idea Generation:
- Participate in weekly 1:1 sessions to bounce ideas off the team.
- Contribute creatively to brainstorming sessions and marketing strategy meetings.
- Community Engagement:
- Lead community engagement across all social media channels, including responding to DMs, comments, and inquiries in our brand tone of voice. Comfortable with client-facing communication via DM, email, and social channels to foster relationships, answer questions, and maintain a polished, professional presence
Skill-set:
- Proven experience in social media marketing, particularly with Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Strong copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Consistency both in day-to-day tasks as well as with our overall company voice and branding.
- Experience in video creation and editing for social media platforms.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and ability to apply them effectively.
- Familiarization with travel Consortias such as Virtuoso, Preferred Partner, Rosewood Elite, Diamond Club, FAN Club, STARS/Luminous, etc. is a bonus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of and experience with Apple software, Gmail, Asana, Slack, Canva, WordPress, Loomly, Adobe Illustrator, and ActiveCampaign.
- Must have a passion for details and organization and an appreciation for the importance of consistent procedures.
- Drive to develop working relationships and effectively communicate with team members, empathize with their needs, and develop an effective approach to marketing support for the team as a whole.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing is preferred, but all majors will be considered, given a sincere interest in marketing.
- At least 1+ years of experience in a marketing internship, freelance, or full-time position.
- Experience with Apple software, Canva, and social media management platforms.
- Must have a passion for travel and an appreciation for global culture and diversity.
- Top candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, proficiency in remote communication, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Candidates must be capable and comfortable working remotely, with a dedicated home office setup to support productivity and focus.
