We're currently partnering with a high-growth, sustainability-focused company to find an exceptional Market Expansion Manager. Backed by fresh investment and scaling rapidly, this business is transforming its industry-leveraging technology to drive efficiency, champion sustainability, and grow with purpose.

This is a strategic, high-impact role where you'll shape how and where the company grows-working across Commercial and Operations to ensure smart, scalable, and sustainable expansion.

The Role

As Market Expansion Manager, you'll sit at the heart of the company's growth engine. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll be responsible for setting and executing the market expansion strategy-exploring new locations, routes to market and customer areas, while ensuring strong ROI and operational feasibility.

You'll act as a strategic bridge between Business Development and Operations, helping the company scale in a way that's both ambitious and realistic-ensuring new business doesn't outpace the ability to deliver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement growth strategies focused on new locations, routes to market, and market opportunities.
  • Assess opportunities for profitability and long-term strategic fit.
  • Work closely with Commercial teams to ensure customer promises are aligned with operational capabilities.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and customer onboarding to drive efficiency across departments.
  • Bring a structured, analytical mindset to decision-making as the business continues to scale.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in strategy roles-ideally in consultancy, scale-ups, or fast-growth environments.
  • Strong commercial and operational awareness, with a preference for experience in industries involving logistics or transportation.
  • A proactive, energetic approach with a clear interest in tech-driven, sustainable business models.
  • Fluent English is essential; German is highly desirable.
  • Candidates must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Leipzig-this is a hybrid role with on-site collaboration expected.
