Seeking Maintenance Scheduler (CMMS)

for a leader in the building materials industry in Berlin, New Jersey

Local area candidates only; no relocation assistance provided.

The Maintenance Scheduler's role is to minimize total maintenance costs by maximizing workforce efficiency and productivity through detailed planning and scheduling of work orders.

Responsibilities include developing scope of work, cost estimates, and job requirements; scheduling work; updating maintenance plans; and including work instructions.

Open and update maintenance plans in CMMS, including equipment numbers, maintenance classification, budget items, and shutdown PMs. Occasionally, place purchase requisitions for labor/materials and follow up on orders and delivery.

Requirements:

• High School or Technical School diploma
• At least 3 years of technical/mechanical and electrical work experience
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
• CMMS experience (desired: SAP, Oracle, Maximo)
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and rotating equipment
• Must be available 24/7
• Position generally Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm, with potential after-hours calls
