Qualifikationen

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Produktionstechnik, Maschinenbau oder Luft- und Raumfahrt.
  • Mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung wünschenswert.
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Entwicklung und Design von Luft- und Raumfahrtprodukten.

We - MT Aerospace - are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture, and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the U.S. Space Launch System (SLS), as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecraft, satellites, and defense applications. Thanks to globally unique manufacturing technologies, we create high-performance products made of metal and fiber composites, such as large load-bearing structures and cryotanks, lightweight structures, and fuel and pressure tanks that combine maximum performance with minimum weight. Your Tasks
  • Responsibility for the interface function between engineering and production or supply chain in the product development process
  • Coordination with specialist departments such as design, work preparation, metrology, NC programming, production development, purchasing, and procurement assurance
  • Independent assurance of production-oriented and economical design (design to cost) for technical approvals, feasibility studies, and suggestions for improvement
  • Involvement in quotations (RC/NRC costs) for own expenses (BMK/production)
  • Support in the adaptation of internal processes
  • Overall responsibility for the manufacturability and testability of new projects for both internal production and the external supply chain
  • Technical management function in development projects concerning the production process; coordination with project management and system engineering
  • Comparison and assurance of all standards on the construction documents with existing or new standards to be installed in the internal and external supply chain
  • Synchronization and assurance of conformity of all standards on the construction documents with customer requirements
Your Qualifications
  • Completed studies as Dipl.-Ing. (TU/FH) or Bachelor/Master (m/f/d) specializing in production engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or master craftsman (technician) with several years of professional experience or similar
  • Very good knowledge of development and design, preferably of aerospace products and production engineering
  • Experience in manufacturing and testing technologies for the aerospace industry
  • Very good knowledge of CAD (NX and Catia), PLM, and SAP
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Moderation and teamwork skills in cooperation with other departments
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
