Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Engineer in our fabrication department, you play a crucial role in the preparation and planning of production processes for our international production network. You are at the forefront of ensuring the availability, completeness, and correctness of required input data for production from engineering and other departments.

In this position, the following tasks reflect some of your responsibilities:

• You are instrumental in supporting the fabrication processes, including New Product Introduction (NPI). You ensure that processes and changes, such as drawings, standards, and the manufacturing Bill of Material, are designed for manufacturability and are released on time
• You develop, analyze, and manage manufacturing and assembly projects. You are adept at troubleshooting day-to-day process problems, initiating solutions, and evaluating the effectiveness of these changes from the back office for international production facilities
• As a key user, you support the setup of our new PLM and ERP Systems. You are also responsible for transferring the Engineering Bill of Material into the Manufacturing Bill of Material in the Product Lifecycle Management Software, and configuring the manufacturing Bill of Material according to the individual production process criteria of different production facilities
• You handle the transfer of Bill of Material from the Product Lifecycle Management System into ERP, including the setup of routings for internal and external production processes
• You prepare and manage production orders in ERP
• You analyze engineering change notices, determine part or process changes, and implement these changes effectively
• Maintenance of Fabrication-related Master Data in ERP
• You work with internal and external suppliers to develop and manage strategically important projects, ensuring efficient, cost-effective systems and processes are in place to produce quality products

Profil

• You have a bachelor's/master's degree in Business and Engineering or Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification
• You bring a track record of at least 3-5 years in a similar function
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter is beneficial
• Proficiency in MS Dynamics, SAP R/3, or other ERP systems in the context of production is mandatory. You are also proficient in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
• You possess strong analytical skills and focus on a structured way of working
• You are adept at elaborating strategic concepts, negotiating, and synthesizing different views into one cohesive solution
• You have excellent communication skills in English and German
• You are ready for short support trips within our international production network
