Job summary

Blackwave GmbH in Bavaria seeks a Winding Engineer to develop, optimize, and industrialize filament winding for COPVs used in aerospace.

You will own winding parameters, drive process validation, and collaborate across design, materials, quality, and test teams to ensure performance, reliability, and safety in production environments.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time experience with filament winding and composite manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Strong understanding of process control, variability and failure modes.
• Structured, detail-oriented with high ownership in safety-critical environments.
• Excellent English and German language skills.

• Process robustness, repeatability, and manufacturability

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science, or similar
• At least three years full-time experience with filament winding and composite manufacturing, aerospace preferred, and serial production
• Strong understanding of process control, variability and failure modes
• Structured, detail-oriented working style with high ownership
• Ability to work in a zero-failure, safety-critical environment
• Very good English skills, at least B2 German skills
