Processes under control – thinking ahead in production
At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Finkenwerder, you’ll take responsibility for production process design in the Single Aisle Structures Assembly. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll support the planning of new and series production, implement improvements and assist in the rollout of new technologies.
The gross annual salary ranges from €71,500 to €73,500, depending on experience and qualification. Please note that we can only consider candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).
Job description
Tasks
- Translating design documentation into manufacturing orders, applying technical standards
- Planning new and series production processes for assemblies (secondary structure)
- Creating and maintaining work instructions, manuals and cost calculations (MTM, STV)
- Processing and monitoring improvement proposals and cost-saving measures
- Supporting the implementation of new technologies
- Handling component commissioning and missing parts management
- Supporting day-to-day production routines based on SQCDP
- Collaborating with production, engineering, and quality departments
Requirements
- Completed further training as a technician / business administrator or completed studies in engineering or a comparable technical degree program
- Several years of professional experience in work preparation, production planning/control and manufacturing engineering
- Initial experience in process improvement
- Sound knowledge of SAP, initial knowledge of Catia V5, Taksy / Gesy / Tesy, PDMLink, VPM
- Proficient German (min. C1) and basic English (min. B2)
- Willingness to work rolling late shifts
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
