Connecting tech talent with industry leaders

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team focused on remanufacturing components for electric vehicles. In this role, you will play a key part in scaling up operations across energy conversion systems and high-voltage battery components, supporting the shift toward sustainable mobility and a circular economy.

You will be responsible for optimizing production processes, implementing new remanufacturing methods, and ensuring operational efficiency across a range of electrified powertrain components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for remanufacturing high-voltage batteries and energy conversion components (inverters, e-motors, power electronics).
  • Design and improve production layouts, tooling, and workflows to increase throughput, quality, and safety.
  • Support the launch of new remanufacturing lines, including process validation, equipment specification, and operator training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations, and EHS) to resolve production issues and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Analyze data to drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Participate in equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning for expanding electrification capabilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, ideally within the automotive or electrification sector.
  • Experience with high-voltage systems, battery handling, or energy conversion components is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing software (MES, ERP).
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process validation, and quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment with a strong focus on sustainability and process innovation.
  • Understanding of safety protocols related to HV battery systems (e.g., DGUV, OSHA, NFPA 70E) is a plus.
