Freudenberg Group is seeking a CAM leadership expert to drive global implementation and standardization of CAM across international production sites. You will plan, coordinate, and lead CAM rollouts in collaboration with local production and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes developing NC programming methods, CAM standards, and post-processor development, while advancing digitalization and the Digital Thread across engineering, CAM and manufacturing systems.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary project teams.
• Several years of CAD/CAM, NC programming and CNC technologies.
• Knowledge of TopSolid CAD/CAM and post-processor development is advantageous.
• Knowledge of NC code-based simulation (e.g., Vericut) is beneficial.

• Oversee global CAM implementations across production sites.
• Plan, coordinate and provide functional leadership for international CAM rollouts with local teams.

• Develop, customize and validate post-processors and integrate new machine tools and technologies.
• Conceptual development of the Digital Thread and related digital processes.
• Advance end-to-end digitalization across engineering, CAM, manufacturing systems and production.
• Monitor, evaluate and implement new CAM, CNC, automation and AI technologies to improve global manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to international digitalization and transformation projects.

• Responsibility for the global implementation, standardization, and continuous development of the CAM landscape across our international production sites
• Planning, coordinating, and providing functional leadership for international CAM rollouts in close collaboration with local production and engineering teams
• Developing and optimizing NC programming methods, CAM standards, and best practices to increase productivity, quality, process reliability, and automation
• Developing, customizing, and validating post-processors, as well as integrating new machine tools and manufacturing technologies
• Conceptual development of the Digital Thread
• Further development of end-to-end digital processes between engineering, CAM, manufacturing systems, and production
• Monitoring, evaluating, and implementing new technologies in the fields of CAM, CNC, automation, and artificial intelligence to advance global manufacturing processes
• Actively contributing to international digitalization and transformation projects
