The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional executive to serve as Managing Partner – Business Development (MPBD) in Germany, focused on expanding our client footprint across the DACH region. This is not a traditional sales role. The MPBD is a trusted advisor and executive relationship builder, capable of quickly establishing credibility with CEOs, gaining insight into their most pressing business challenges, and influencing them to act with urgency. By leveraging your own real-world C-level or senior operational experience, you will relate to and motivate senior leaders to commit to transformational engagements—engagements that you will personally originate, structure, and shepherd into execution.

As MPBD, you will work at the intersection of strategy, execution, and influence, engaging in sophisticated, high-trust conversations that ultimately lead to enterprise-wide change. You will collaborate with Brooks’ internal consulting and delivery teams to seamlessly transition client relationships into execution while maintaining senior-level client engagement throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage CEO and Chairman/Chairwoman executives—across Global 2000 and leading private equity-backed firms in Germany and the DACH region.
  • Establish trust-based relationships grounded in shared experience, situational fluency, and a deep understanding of strategic and operational execution.
  • Uncover high-impact business needs and articulate how Brooks’ methodology can accelerate results and secure organizational alignment.
  • Drive the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity origination through signed Stage 1 Assessment agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Managing Partners – Delivery to ensure seamless handoff and alignment between expectation and execution.
  • Serve as a long-term strategic advisor to clients, driving follow-on business, multi-year relationships, and referrals.
  • Contribute to the refinement of Brooks’ market development strategy across Europe.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A proven executive with 10–20+ years of having held CEO or executive leadership positions with P&L responsibilities of at least $200 million USD annually.
  • A strong track record of engaging with and influencing CEOs and C-level executives in complex, high-stakes environments.
  • Deep operational understanding and the ability to speak fluently about P&L performance, transformation, and organizational change.
  • Fluent in German and English, with the ability to navigate cultural and business dynamics across the DACH region.
  • Exceptional situational awareness, empathy, and the ability to listen deeply and lead through influence.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and comfortable working independently at an executive altitude.
  • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, industrials, healthcare, energy, or private equity portfolio companies is a plus.
