Would you like to make a valuable contribution to the health of patients? And do something really meaningful on your own responsibility? Then we look forward to hearing from you! Excellence beyond manufacturing - that's what we stand for as Aenova, one of the world's leading contract manufacturers and developers for the pharmaceutical industry with 4,000 employees at 15 sites. Our site in Münster is a competence center for hormones and micro-dosed capsules.

Your key responsibilities

  • As Managing Director of the plant, you are responsible for the business results and control the entire manufacturing process with a particular focus on keeping the agreed quality, production performance and delivery targets, as well as safety standards.
  • Establish and maintain an environment of consistent quality and compliance in all site activities. This includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations across the team, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other requirements.
  • You will be responsible for the mid-term strategic direction of the site, as well as driving and supporting sales activities in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Together with the Business Unit Leader, you will shape the further development of the site, manage the site's P&L on your own responsibility and support important development and transfer projects.
  • In collaboration with your leadership team, you will drive local improvement programs with the goal of optimizing site performance and achieving cost efficiencies.
  • You will work closely with global functions at headquarters as well as with customers and regulatory authorities.
  • You will manage the site customer relationships with your team, driving operations in order to achieve customer and patient satisfaction.

Your profile

  • Completed scientific studies with demonstrable knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical or food sector.
  • Successfully completed degree or comparable qualification (e.g. pharmacy, natural science, engineering).
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, including several years in aseptic manufacturing.
  • Experience in managing a site with more than 250 employees and with P&L responsibility.
  • Extensive knowledge of value drivers in manufacturing operations (production, quality assurance, supply chain, engineering), S&OP as well as other areas: Finance, HR, IT (systems) and Sales.
  • Experience in using modern tools (e.g. value stream mapping, visual management, KPIs, etc.) and processes for continuous improvement and transformation - including cultural transformation.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and driving operational production performance, as well as site expansions.
  • In-depth knowledge of cGMP requirements, as well as experience dealing with works councils and/or unions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization in an international environment.
  • Strategic mindset as well as the ability to get to the core of issues.
  • Proactive, efficient and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Fluency in German and English.

Your motivation

Are you looking for new challenges in a highly competitive environment? And you want to tackle them creatively and on your own responsibility? Do you prefer a "get-it-done" culture and think in terms of solutions rather than problems? What are you waiting for? We would be happy to explain our corporate benefits in a personal conversation!
