KYOCERA AVX Components (Betzdorf) GmbH is seeking a Managing Director to lead a ~130-employee operation in the automotive sector. The role combines daily operational oversight with strategic development and executive leadership across functions.

The ideal candidate has extensive senior management experience in automotive manufacturing, fluency in German and English, and a proven track record in driving growth, profitability and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business engineering, business administration or comparable field.
• Extensive senior management/exec experience, ideally in automotive Tier 1/2 suppliers.
• Proven track record in strategy, business development and leadership.
• Strong technical understanding of automotive manufacturing and industrial processes.
• Experience negotiating with works councils and trade unions.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Entrepreneurial, decisive and results-oriented leadership style.

For KYOCERA AVX Components (Betzdorf) GmbH we are looking for a Managing Director (m/f/d) at our location in Betzdort.

What we are looking for

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business engineering, business administration or comparable field
• Several years of professional experience, including a senior management or executive role with essential background in the automotive industry, ideally within a Tier 1 or 2 supplier
• Proven track record in strategy, business development and organizational leadership
• Strong technical understanding of automotive manufacturing and industrial processes
• Profound experience in leading negotiations with works councils and trade unions
• Fluent language skills in both German and English
• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as hands-on, decisive and results-oriented personality
