We are seeking a Managing Director to lead and manage our German GmbH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of the company within Germany, ensuring legal and work compliance, fiscal responsibility, and alignment with corporate goals. This role requires an understanding of German employment laws, corporate office management, and home office operational leadership.

Results / Accountabilities

  • Legal Representation : Serve as the legal representative of the GmbH in all business and legal matters in Germany.
  • Corporate Governance : Ensure full compliance with German tax, and labor laws, including timely filings and communications with regulatory bodies.
  • Strategic Planning : Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Financial Oversight : Oversee financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency.
  • Operations Management : Manage the day-to-day operations of GmbH, including office space, administrative tasks, and vendor relationships.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Report regularly to the home office and leadership and maintain transparent communication on performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Risk Management : Identify and mitigate business risks to ensure sustainable company growth and regulatory compliance.

Qualification Profile

  • Strong understanding of German corporate, tax, and labor law.
  • Extensive background in senior corporate leadership settings
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)prefered.
  • Experience with budget management and reporting.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience working with international parent companies or subsidiaries.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.

Employment Conditions :

  • Must have the ability to work in Germany upon hire date.
  • Must have an established German tax ID number.
