The German subsidiary, Crypto Finance (Deutschland) GmbH, located in Frankfurt am Main, is currently awaiting the BaFin license. Therefore, we are looking for a Managing Director to establish the regulated legal entity to cover the German market and later drive expansion into Europe.

The starting date is as soon as possible in our office in Frankfurt am Main.

Key responsibilities :

1. As one of the three Managing Directors, you will be responsible for the IT strategy and operational management of the German business activities with a focus on information technology.
2. You will shape, drive, and steer the methodical and ambitious growth of the subsidiary, as well as the development of the company as a whole.
3. After license approval from BaFin, you will implement an audit-proven and efficient management process for the company.
4. You will ensure flawless operations and monitor all internal and external activities.

Requirements

1. You are an experienced leader in the financial services industry, with experience in a BaFin-regulated bank or financial infrastructure company, either as a Managing Director or as a deputy with an IT background.
2. You have a proven track record in leading companies through build-up and implementation phases, with knowledge of required IT processes and the ability to establish effective and efficient IT operational workflows. Understanding of information security requirements and implementation is beneficial.
3. You have experience with complex IT projects in the regulated financial sector and possess an excellent network of industry contacts.
4. Your leadership style is authentic and motivating, with transparent and direct communication. You have a good sense of entrepreneurial values and are a team player.
5. You have a proven interest in crypto assets and/or blockchain technology.
6. You create an infectious team spirit, distinguish yourself with a winning attitude, possess excellent negotiation skills, and are highly self-motivated.
7. You have a passion for excellence and work according to the motto "getting things done."
8. You speak German at a native level and English fluently.
