Manager System Engineering High Power - Industrial & Automotive Gate Drivers

We are hiring a Manager System Engineering High-Power for our Industrial and Automotive gate drivers team in Ense, Germany.

Objective of the role: Improve and maintain Technical Support, Demand Creation and Customer Relations.

Reports to: Director of System Engineering High Power - Industrial & Automotive Gate Drivers

Subordinate positions: Manager of Laboratory High Power - Industrial & Automotive Gate Drivers, System Engineer High Power - Industrial & Automotive Gate Drivers

Representative (deputy): Manager of Laboratory High Power - Industrial & Automotive Gate Drivers.

Education and Work Experience:

1. Degree in electrical engineering or other deep technical background in power electronics
2. 5 years' relevant experience

Professional Expertise:

1. Deep experience in power electronics especially related to gate drivers and inverter systems and/or IGBT and MOSFET technologies
2. Experience in circuit design and layout of printed circuit boards with CAD systems like Altium Designer
3. Experience in characterization of gate drivers, power semiconductors and/or inverter systems

Soft Skills:

1. Capabilities in managing and leading people
2. Proven capability in leading complex projects and being effective while interfacing with different teams
3. Very good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
4. Ability in understanding and executing Marketing and Go-to-Market Strategies
5. Willingness and flexibility to travel on demand
6. Ability in promoting and demand creation at customers.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Compiling of technical specifications for gate driver designs
2. Circuit design of gate drivers including selection and evaluation of suitable components
3. Layout of printed circuit boards including compilation of related production data for external manufacturing partners
4. Low and high voltage evaluation of gate driver designs
5. Review and analysis of competitor products
6. Compiling and reviewing of related gate driver documentation in Chinese and English
7. Visiting customers for support and demand creation (in conjunction with Sales)

General Responsibilities:

1. Technical support towards Sales and Marketing
2. Technical support towards customers and business partners
3. Communication and bridging function between customer, sales and marketing
4. Compilation of technical papers and editorials including presenting them at public conferences
5. Attendance at exhibitions as technical peer for customers and business partners
6. Giving trainings for internal and external customers
7. Visit customers for demand creation
