Join a dynamic team in the exciting world of tourism with a start-up atmosphere combined with corporate stability! Our central Corporate Procurement department, established two years ago, combines the agility of a start-up with the security of a corporation. We are looking for a motivated and solution-oriented Manager Strategic Purchasing (m/w/d) to strengthen our IT purchasing team at our Frankfurt and Cologne locations. In this role, you will work directly with the Lead Buyer and support all tasks related to strategic procurement.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing category strategies for IT subcategories (hardware, software, travel software).
• Conducting market and needs analyses to identify optimization potential.
• Managing procurement processes including tenders and bid evaluations.
• Supporting negotiations with suppliers and contract finalizations.
• Participating in cost and process optimization initiatives.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to clarify procurement needs and requirements.
• Supporting the implementation of global procurement strategies at the local level.
• Assisting in digitalization efforts within procurement.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or relevant vocational training with IT focus.
• Initial professional experience in strategic IT procurement.
• Analytical thinking, structured and independent working style.
• Quick comprehension, assertiveness, communication and negotiation skills, solution-oriented and reliable work approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Fluent in English and German (verhandlungssicher).
• Knowledge of procurement systems like SAP, Ivalua, Ariba.
