Join us on our journey: To drive the smart and sustainable energy future, we are looking for a Manager Software Engineering (d / f / m) to oversee strategic tech initiatives from development through to successful implementation.

  • Employment Type: Full-Time, indefinite term
  • Salary Range: 115,000 - 135,000 per year gross depending on the seniority level
  • Work Setup: Office-first
Your Responsibilities
  • Set the technical vision and strategy for your team and oversee strategic initiatives from development to completion
  • Coach and guide the professional and technical development of your team members
  • Establish a culture of engineering excellence
  • Assist and communicate with executives and leads in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Review design and implement improvements to organizational structure, identify knowledge and skill gaps, and actively help address them
  • Improve and create processes, and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized effectiveness, excellence, and speed of delivery
  • Oversee daily operations through collaboration with senior management and department leaders
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handle inquiries, develop action plans, and assist with communication dissemination
  • Work closely with recruiters and leadership to attract and hire high-potential candidates
Your Profile

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related tech field
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development and 2 years of leadership experience, ideally in backend development and cloud platforms
  • Extensive experience in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams
  • Proven ability to contribute to technical planning and design discussions
  • Strong proficiency in backend development: Python, cloud (e.g., AWS), virtualization and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CDK, Pulumi), workflow orchestration (e.g., Prefect, AWS Step Functions), observability tools (e.g., Loki, Prometheus, Tempo, Grafana)
  • Experience in strategic technical cross-team coordination and leadership
  • Ability to identify and track complex dependencies across multiple teams
