BioNTech is seeking a Service Delivery Manager for Infrastructure Services in Mainz to ensure stable, secure, and efficient delivery across enterprise infrastructure. You will lead incidents, changes, and improvements while coordinating with internal IT, security, and business stakeholders.

With >5 years in IT service management within infrastructure and strong cloud/hybrid experience, you will manage external providers, SLAs, and drive cost-efficient, compliant operations.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in IT service management and service delivery within infrastructure services.
• Strong knowledge of server operating systems, databases, virtualization, and hybrid/cloud environments.
• Experience with ITIL incident, problem, change, capacity, and service level management.
• Vendor management and contract steering experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

About the role:

As Service Delivery Manager Infrastructure Services, you ensure the stable, secure, and efficient delivery of core infrastructure services across the enterprise. You act as a key contact for internal stakeholders and external providers and drive service quality, standardization, and continuous improvement.

• Good knowledge of ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity, and Service Level Management
• Experience in vendor management, service performance monitoring, and contract-related steering
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
• Service-oriented, structured, accountable, and focused on continuous improvement
• Fluent English language skills, both oral and written
