In this managerial role, you and your team will market our solutions for retailers and brands - from Amazon and eBay to Otto and Zalando. On search engines such as Google and Bing, you will support the plentysystems multichannel SaaS platform for retailers and brand manufacturers around the world. As Sales Team Manager (m/f/d) you will lead your team on the road to success in a strongly KPI-orientated environment. Sounds exciting?

Your mission
  • Strategic planning: Developing, coordinating and implementing sales strategies to expand the customer base and generate new revenue
  • New customer acquisition: Identifying potential customers, building relationships and finalising contracts
  • Sales management: monitoring and analysing sales activities, market trends and competitive activities to ensure that sales targets are met, company revenue is increased and growth opportunities are realised
  • Close collaboration with other stakeholders such as marketing, product development and the service organisation
  • Disciplinary and technical leadership: leading, motivating and developing a team of (Senior) Account Executives - conducting feedback sessions, mentoring and solution finding
  • Regular reporting to management on sales activities and results

Your profile
  • You are a true talent for communication and negotiation in both German and English and can convey complex issues in an understandable way
  • Sound experience in the ERP and/or e-commerce sector and several years of experience in sales
  • You are a doer who likes to tackle things yourself and drive things forward
  • You have a broad network of contacts in the e-commerce sector
  • You have already led teams and know what it means to be there for your employees and motivate them in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking ability
  • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot is an advantage
  • Knowledge of sales methods such as MEDDIC is desirable
