Manager Production Planning and Tactical Procurement (f/m/d)

Tasks:

1. Oversee and manage production planning activities to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing processes and material availability.
2. Develop and implement production schedules in alignment with S&OP Planning and inventory targets.
3. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet production requirements while minimizing excess stock.
4. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Global Procurement) to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
5. Lead tactical procurement strategies, ensuring the timely acquisition of raw materials and supplies.
6. Identify and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure product quality, cost-efficiency, and on-time delivery for locally managed suppliers.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production planning, inventory management, and procurement processes.
8. Manage and resolve any supply chain disruptions or bottlenecks in the production process.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in production planning, procurement, or supply chain management.
3. Strong knowledge of inventory management, production scheduling, and procurement strategies.
4. High level of professional and technical leadership skills (incl. Team Leadership Experience).
5. Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software (e.g., SAP).
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
7. Analytical mindset with the ability to manage data-driven decision-making.
8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
9. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
10. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
