Manager Product Compliance, Surface Solution

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Product Compliance Department at Surface Solutions Business Unit within the Electronics Segment. In this position, you will coordinate and execute Regulatory Affairs tasks for our product portfolio. The focus will be on Chemical Regulations (EU REACH registrations, Classification & Labelling, Safety Data Sheets, internal SAP processes), Cosmetic Product Regulations, Product Stewardship, and Customer Communication. The goal is to create sustainable solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. Internal collaboration with peers and colleagues in Product Management, Sales, etc., will be key. After onboarding, you will be the primary contact for Consortia, Joint registration groups, and associations.

You will be part of a global team that ensures Product Compliance, Sustainability, and Quality Oversight for our portfolio, which includes effect pigments, active ingredients, and fillers for automotive, plastics, printing, cosmetics, food, and pharmaceutical applications.

Who you are:
  • Master's Degree or above
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Professional experience in Regulatory Affairs
  • High level of customer focus, self-motivated, and passionate about networking
  • Excellent analytical skills, process-oriented thinking, structured work approach, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal communication and written skills, proactive problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to manage and deliver in a matrix environment and interact cross-functionally in a global setting
  • Experience with SAP ERP software is preferred
  • Effective negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and written) in English and preferably German
