POLYVANTIS, a leading global supplier of acrylic and polycarbonate films and sheets, seeks a Manager Procurement Europe to lead a regional team and drive sourcing excellence across Europe.

You will own strategic categories, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, and legal to align procurement with business goals. German and English fluency is required; regular travel within Europe is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience within an international manufacturing or industrial environment; leadership experience is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications; experience with e-sourcing and procurement analytics tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Own and manage one or more strategic procurement categories across Europe, depending on business priorities and experience (e.g., MRO, utilities, masking film, logistics, packaging, and industrial services).
• Develop and execute regional category strategies that deliver cost optimization, supply continuity, innovation, sustainability, and long-term business value.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives, supplier selection processes, commercial negotiations, and contract management activities across the European region.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, driving performance, competitiveness, innovation, and risk mitigation.
• Conduct executive-level supplier business reviews and lead supplier development programs to support operational and strategic objectives.
• Act as the primary procurement business partner for our European manufacturing sites, with focus on Weiterstadt (Germany) and Bergen op Zoom (Netherlands).
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, quality, and legal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Ensure contracts and supplier agreements address commercial, operational, legal, sustainability, compliance, and supply risk requirements.
• Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks through market intelligence, supplier assessments, contingency planning, and dual-sourcing strategies.
• Drive procurement best practices, process improvements, and governance standards across the region.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical sourcing principles, and relevant regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do

As Manager Procurement Europe, you will lead a regional procurement team and play a key role in driving sourcing excellence, supplier performance, and value creation across our European operations.

• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience within an international manufacturing or industrial environment, leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
• Experience working in a matrix organization and managing procurement activities across multiple countries and cultures.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications; experience with e-sourcing and procurement analytics tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
