Responsibilities

• Responsibility for purchasing and procurement of articles, co-responsibility for negotiating purchasing and pricing conditions with international suppliers, managing a small team
• Order placement in collaboration with the Head of Purchase and team members
• Monitoring and coordinating delivery dates, ensuring adherence to schedules within the team
• Close and sustainable communication with product management, technical quality assurance, and international suppliers
• Participation in supplier meetings and maintaining long-term supplier relationships
• Sourcing responsibilities in coordination with quality assurance
• Serving as the contact for team matters
• Creating/preparing analyses and evaluations
• Market observation
• Participation in trade fairs

Qualifications

• Degree in textile management, academic commercial training, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in textile purchasing
• Excellent product and procurement market knowledge
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking, organizational talent, and analytical skills
• Pronounced affinity for numbers
• Assertiveness, confident demeanor, negotiation skills, and team ability
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with common product data management systems
• Experience in managing a small team is advantageous
• Willingness to travel
