Jobbeschreibung

What you'll do

1. Contribute to shaping Adhesive Technologies' strategy for sustainability by integrating sustainability into our business strategy through data-driven measurement concepts, with a focus on sustainability measurement, data analysis, modeling, and Life Cycle Assessment.
2. Develop a holistic concept for sustainability transparency at the product and portfolio level along the value chain and as part of integrated business steering.
3. Support the design of business intelligence tools for collecting key data points and KPIs.
4. Advance our portfolio transformation by refining the methodological framework to assess our portfolio's contribution to sustainability, considering market needs, impact assessments, and future regulations such as EU Taxonomy & CSRD.
5. Provide expertise on sustainability topics like CO2 emission accounting, value chain savings levers, and alternative feedstocks.
6. Represent Henkel externally at industry initiatives, with customers, and internally to enhance our sustainability expertise, performance, and reputation.

What makes you a good fit

1. Master's degree in environmental science, chemistry, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
3. Proven track record in managing complex projects in multi-stakeholder environments, especially sustainability-related projects.
4. Understanding of life cycle assessments and reporting standards (e.g., Together for Sustainability, ISO norms, Greenhouse Gas Protocol). Knowledge of LCA concepts and software such as GaBi, OpenLCA, or Brightway is advantageous.
5. Experience in Python programming, data analytics, mathematical modeling, and working with data tools & systems. Knowledge of databases is a plus.
6. Strategic and analytical mindset with a passion for driving change and challenging the status quo.
7. Fluent in English.
