What you´ll do

• Contribute to shaping Adhesive Technologies’ strategy for sustainability by integrating sustainability into our business strategy through data-driven measurement concepts, with a focus on sustainability measurement, data analysis, modeling, and Life Cycle Assessment.
• Develop a holistic concept for sustainability transparency at the product and portfolio level along the value chain and within integrated business steering.
• Support the design of business intelligence tools for collecting key data points and KPIs.
• Advance our portfolio transformation by enhancing the methodological framework to assess our portfolio’s contribution to sustainability, considering market needs, impact assessment, and future regulations such as EU Taxonomy & CSRD.
• Provide expertise on sustainability topics like CO2 emission accounting, identifying related savings levers in value chains, and understanding alternative feedstocks.
• Represent Henkel externally at industry initiatives, with customers, and internally to improve our sustainability expertise, performance, and reputation.

What makes you a good fit

• Master's degree in environmental science, chemistry, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
• Proven track record in managing complex projects in multi-stakeholder environments, preferably with a focus on sustainability projects.
• Understanding of life cycle assessments and reporting standards (e.g., Together for Sustainability, ISO norms, Greenhouse Gas Protocol). Knowledge of LCA concepts and software such as GaBi, OpenLCA, or Brightway is advantageous.
• Experience in Python programming, data analytics, mathematical modeling, working with data tools & systems, and understanding databases is beneficial.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with data affinity and a passion for driving change and challenging the status quo.
• Fluent English skills.
