Your tasks

Automotive Labor Relations Germany is the employer's representative and negotiation partner for employee representatives within the Group Sector Automotive, such as the works council. The Labor Relations Germany team advises on fundamental questions of labor law at the interface with HR processes, drafts and implements policies and regulations with labor law relevance, and shapes the overarching employment conditions for the Group Sector Automotive in Germany. It also represents the company's interests in various labor circles, such as employer associations.

The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Advising departments on fundamental labor law questions and complex issues regarding employee participation rights
  • Responsible negotiations with supra-regional employee representatives in the Group Sector Automotive on relevant topics
  • Independent development of labor law and/or personnel policy policies, regulations, and standards with company-wide relevance
  • Monitoring relevant changes in national and European legal frameworks, analyzing practical and economic impacts, and communicating appropriately and promptly to relevant areas and contacts within the Group
  • Serving as the interface in strategic, collective labor law issues with employer associations
  • Supporting, advising, and managing organizational structural changes, such as mergers, spin-offs, and restructuring
  • Contributing to national and international projects and building an international Labor Relations network within the company
  • Developing and implementing labor law training concepts independently
  • Representing the company's interests in external labor circles, e.g., industry associations
