We are seeking a full-time, permanent Manager of IT Infrastructure Deployment (all genders) to join us as soon as possible. We operate a remote-first policy, providing the flexibility to work hybrid or fully on-site depending on your proximity to our locations.
As the Manager of IT Infrastructure Deployment, you will oversee all hardware provisioning activities across our distributed data centers. Your team will ensure servers and hardware components are correctly racked, stacked, configured, and ready for operation, whether for new installations, replacements, or capacity expansions.
Your main responsibilities include coordinating rollouts, maintaining standardized processes for racking and stacking, and managing hardware deployment from physical setup to documentation. You will collaborate closely with internal technical teams to ensure tasks are assigned, tracked, and executed efficiently. A key aspect of your role involves driving automation and standardization, identifying manual inefficiencies, and implementing pragmatic process improvements to enhance speed, reliability, and scalability of hardware provisioning.
While you won't be hands-on with every hardware component daily, you should possess the technical insight to evaluate hardware, set priorities, and support your team effectively. You will report directly to the Director of Data Center Operations, who oversees global infrastructure. Your focus will be on operational delivery, execution of provisioning workflows, and continuous improvement, without engaging in global strategic planning.
