Manager Industrial Sustainability Environment & Energy (f/m/d)

What to expect:
- ensure full legal compliance with all applicable laws in this scope and specifically in the following areas:
- BImSchG – approval procedures according to the Federal Imission Control Act and implementation of all resulting obligations
- KrWG – ensure proper disposal of all waste from the site and the warehouse
- PRTR – ensure that the reports required by law are properly prepared and submitted
- EEG – ensure all legal requirements of the EEG are met and guarantee the operation of the site's own power generation
- MaStRV – ensure that the legally required reports are properly prepared and submitted
- manage environmental, water, waste and energy budgets while identifying saving potentials
- develop and implement innovative environmental, water, waste and energy projects focused on cost efficiency
- take responsibility for the certification of management standards ISO50001 Energy, create standards for ISO140001
- perform internal and external audits (worldwide) as a lead auditor
- create and develop processes on site for ISO14001 and ISO50001
- assume responsibility for the master plan of the plant in this scope
- link group strategy to operational activities and provide all stakeholders with the necessary information and KPIs to support continuous improvement of the ISEE aspects in their areas
- prepare training documents on environment/chemicals and energy at the site
- advise on sustainability issues and translate the group strategy into operational actions and implement a culture of sustainability
- develop measures for strengthening the sustainability culture/mindset at the site
What we are looking for:
- successfully completed engineering studies with a focus on energy management or environmental technology, or a comparable qualification
- experience in project and process management
- knowledge of ISO14001/50001 and ideally training as an auditor
- experience in dealing with authorities and administrative procedures as well as knowledge of environmental laws and relevant legal standards (in particular BImSchG, WHG, AwSV, TEHG, etc.)
- initial experience in personnel management and employee development
- SAP knowledge is an advantage, proficiency in MSOffice
- fluency in German and English
- strategic thinking, high social and leadership skills, assertiveness and ability to work in a team
