Job Description

In your new role, you will:

  • Act as central key counterpart for worldwide coordination of global transit management across all Infineon locations, including management of external transport service providers to optimize costs, quality, time, and flexibility.
  • Elaborate and coordinate requirement-based transport and delivery concepts along Infineon's supply chain, collaborating closely with site logistics teams.
  • Drive and coordinate operational innovations in global transit management.
  • Monitor global volume flows, ensuring adherence to process parameters such as forwarder performance, transit times, and costs.
  • Organize regular global business reviews with transport service providers to improve transit networks.
  • Advise business groups, regions, and locations on transport solutions and process optimization.
  • Support the preparation of transportation-related RfQs by compiling logistics specifications and defining applicable boundaries in collaboration with procurement.
  • Evaluate service provider offers for transport services in tenders, focusing on workability and practicability.
  • Implement service provider changes operationally across Infineon sites for designated lanes.
  • Support logistics projects to incorporate and implement transit management aspects effectively.

Your Profile

As a Manager in this role, you are committed to team and company success, capable of establishing successful cooperation quickly, and set ambitious goals for yourself.

You are best suited if you have:

  • A university degree in Business Administration with a focus on logistics or an apprenticeship in forwarding.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in forwarding operations, with a leadership role in air freight (import/export), working closely with shippers and airlines.
  • Deep understanding of designing end-to-end transport chains, capable of analyzing complex tasks and developing customized solutions.
  • Proficiency in drafting, developing, and implementing tailored transit solutions for global supply chains, including managing air freight capacities.
  • The ability to identify, coordinate, and implement problem-solving solutions, familiar with quality programs based on a “zero defect” approach.
  • Strong professional persuasiveness, effective collaboration with international logistics teams, and the ability to communicate appreciatively, resolve conflicts, and manage interfaces.
  • Intercultural competencies and sensitivity.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Flexibility for business travel.
