Are you a logistics professional with experience in air and sea freight? For a forward-looking logistics company with a family-like team spirit in Langenhagen near Hannover, we are seeking a Manager Global Freight Operations (Air & Ocean) (m/w/d). Responsibilities include:

• Leading a small, dedicated team in air and sea freight
• Managing the operational processing of imports and exports worldwide, reliably from door to door
• Negotiating freight rates independently with airlines, shipping companies, and forwarding partners
• Providing personal support to our existing customers and ensuring tailored solutions
• Contributing operationally, strategically, and communicatively
• Working closely with international agents and partners, and managing cross-trades confidently
• Ensuring smooth documentation, customs clearance, and transparency throughout the process

What you bring:

• Training as a forwarding agent or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in air and/or sea freight, preferably with a focus on sea freight
• Initial leadership experience or the desire to take this step
• Negotiation skills, especially with partners & agents
• Excellent English skills and confident handling of systems like Cargosoft and ATLAS
• You are organized, communicative, customer-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work
