Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations, maintenance and safety of corporate facilities, including data centers and high-availability sites. You will coordinate HVAC, emergency power, electrical distribution, and fire-safety systems while managing technicians and contractors to meet deadlines and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent documentation, and experience with DCIM/BMS tools.

Qualifikationen

• 5–10 years in mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals or high-availability facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, emergency power, electrical distribution and fire suppression.
• Experience supervising technicians/contractors in high-uptime settings.
• EPA 608 certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Familiarity with DCIM, BMS, and maintenance platforms such as ServiceNow, MCIM, or Corrigo.

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for regulatory compliance.

• Maintain facility logs, manuals, SOPs and technical documentation.
• Ensure safety regulations and hazardous material handling requirements are followed.
• Monitor BMS/DCIM tools and escalate alarms or issues as needed.
• Support internal teams with deployments, installations, and physical-infrastructure requests.
• Serve as escalation point for after-hours facility events and incidents.
• Train and mentor junior staff on SOPs and safety protocols.

• Oversee daily physical operations, maintenance, and safety of corporate facilities
• Coordinate and oversee installation, inspection, and repair of HVAC, plumbing, fire/life safety, UPS, PDU, switchgear, generator, and cooling infrastructure equipment
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure continuous operation and regulatory compliance
• Manage employees, vendors, and contractors; ensure work meets site requirements, deadlines, documentation standards, and escalation protocols
• Maintain facility logs, equipment manuals, SOPs, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hazardous material handling requirements, and emergency response protocols
• Monitor BMS/DCIM tools and elevate and resolve alarms or issues
• Support internal teams with deployments, installations, and physical-infrastructure service requests
• Serve as escalation point for after-hours facility events and critical incidents
• Train and mentor junior staff on standard operating procedures and safety protocols

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, or high-availability industrial facilities
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, emergency power systems, electrical distribution, and fire suppression
• Experience supervising technicians and/or contractors in high-uptime environments
• Understanding of UPS systems, power distribution units, transfer switches, and building automation systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and equipment schematics
• EPA 608 certification required within 90 days of hire
• Familiarity with DCIM, BMS, or maintenance platforms such as ServiceNow, MCIM, or Corrigo
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to be on-call and respond to facility emergencies after hours
• Experience supporting rapid data center buildouts or greenfield site launches
• Familiarity with critical infrastructure automation tools such as SCADA and PLC systems
• Background working in hybrid environments with both cloud and on-prem compute
• Ability to create and implement Standard and Emergency Operating Procedures (SOPs/EOPs)
• Experience coordinating cross-functional response during facilities-related incidents
• Knowledge of environmental compliance standards related to power and cooling systems
