About the role

Our Transaction Assurance team provides financial due diligence (buy and sell side) and valuation expertise to Siemens Healthineers’ Top Management, ensuring financial aspects of transactions are properly addressed. We work in multidisciplinary teams globally, collaborating with employees and management across various Siemens Healthineers businesses.

Within this role, you may work remotely (within Germany) up to 60% of your hours, in consultation with your manager.

Key responsibilities
  1. Provide focused financial advice to the Siemens Healthineers management board, including:
    1. Performing financial due diligence and valuation services
    2. Advising on and negotiating relevant contract clauses related to purchase price adjustments and closing balance sheet provisions
    3. Assisting in business plan and profitability analysis
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess impacts and risks related to financials of targets.
  3. Build and maintain trusted relationships across Siemens Healthineers to establish the department as a trusted advisor.
  4. Promote digitalization within the Transaction Assurance department.
  5. Manage external financial advisors on a project basis when required.
  6. Engage in other challenging assignments within the team to expand your experience and network.
Qualifications and experience
  • Above-average academic record with a university degree (Master or PhD) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Extensive professional experience in M&A/Financial Due Diligence (e.g., from a Big 4), Controlling, Private Equity, or Investment Banking.
  • Knowledge of M&A contracts, purchase price mechanisms, IFRS; professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA) are advantageous.
  • Experience working in an international environment with diverse teams.

  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages like German are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, honesty, loyalty, and decision-making ability.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented with the ability to inspire others.
