Manager Environment Health Safety and Sustainability (f/m/x)

Process coordination and execution of environmental, energetic, health and safety management systems. In addition, design, lead and execution of projects related to sustainability regulatory compliance processes

  • Participation in the development, introduction, control, improvement and application of environmentally friendly systems, procedures, processes and products

  • Collaboration in the further development of the environmental management system including environmental reporting in the group

  • coordinate the CZ Meditec Group EHS audit program and participate in internal and external inspections and audits on EH&S topics at CZ Meditec Group sites

  • take responsibility for the coordination of the environmental management system of the CZ Meditec Group in accordance with CZ Group EHS indications

  • coordinate the network of environmental and energy officers of the CZ Meditec Group

  • develop and implement the additional EHS processes (including energy) needed for compliance with CSRD policies disclosure requirements and link/ integrate these to the existing CZ Group EHS system

  • monitoring the following subject areas: disposal of wastewater and waste, proper storage of raw materials, auxiliary materials and operating materials, plant operation in accordance with approval


  • Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, chemical, etc.) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, etc.). Alternatively, bachelor's degree in similar subjects with additional R&D working experience

  • Practical EHS experience of minimum one year related to a comparable position in a multi-site industrial company (medical technology industry is of advantage) and practical experience in EHS audits with demonstrated positive outcomes

  • solid knowledge of environmental protection legislation (water/wastewater, waste, emission control, hazardous goods, chemicals law, water/soil protection) in the EU, ideally also for other economic regions (Americas, APAC)

  • strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build cross-functional relationships

  • self-driven, motivated, organized and teamplayer as well as passionate and enthusiasm for sustainability aspects

  • business fluent command of spoken and written English and German with excellent communication skills as well as the willingness to travel
