Job Title: Manager, Data Governance

We are seeking a Manager, Data Governance with deep consulting and technology expertise to address our clients' complex challenges in data management and governance. The role involves creating strategies and technological solutions to enhance data practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing metadata management approaches and document information on metadata per system, type, and solution.
• Align on interfaces for automatic metadata collection from various systems.
• Prepare for metadata import and conduct GAP analysis to identify missing elements.
• Develop a common metadata model across multiple data platforms and domains; adjust and implement the model in Collibra based on current and future metadata needs.
• Architect solutions for automatic metadata collection.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Technology Consulting role leading Data Management & Governance initiatives.
• Minimum 2 years of Collibra implementation experience, with certification as Solution Architect or Ranger, including API knowledge.
• Technical expertise in Azure Services, including networking, integration, and automation.
• Practical experience deploying and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform and version control with platforms like GitHub.
• Experience developing custom parsers and integrating metadata.
• Proficiency in German at a full professional level (C1) in speaking and writing.
