To support our mining operations and expansion projects, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional for the following position:
Manager Business Development Facilities & Services
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with at least 5 years of project management experience or similar roles related to infrastructure and project control management.
- Substantial experience in domestic light industrial construction, facility maintenance, and real estate development; knowledge of building infrastructure (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing); ability to read and analyze architectural, MEP, and structural drawings.
- Experience managing project scopes with budgets ranging from $100 million to $500 million.
- Middle-level operational inspector certificate (POM) or equivalent recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector).
- Strong leadership, organizational, scheduling, and time management skills; ability to work independently and in teams; excellent communication skills in English; commitment to safety and high standards of safety compliance; strong conceptual, analytical, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills; high integrity and dedication.
Key Duties Include:
- Design development for facilities, planning, and cost control, including housing, camps, catering, and restaurant monitoring.
- Establishing and maintaining a department capable of providing high-quality, timely, and sustainable services to all users.
- Employee development across the group, ensuring opportunities for growth in infrastructure and other project areas.
- Ensuring infrastructure safety and usability.
- Coordination with Facilities and Project Managers on new facility projects, cost analysis, and control.
- Resource planning to meet schedules and project needs.
- Strategic planning with subordinates and planning teams to optimize schedules, materials, and facility lifespan extension.
- Reviewing maintenance schedules and coordinating activities for equipment and operational availability.
- Innovating related to facility development for improved aesthetics and environment.
- Managing existing facilities such as guest houses, housing, camps, and catering services.
- Budget and cost management.
- Material control for routine maintenance and projects.
- Monitoring and supervising restaurant operations on-site.
- Updating procedures, enforcing policies, and ensuring legal compliance.
- Responding to emergencies to ensure safety and operational continuity.
- Developing departmental policies, systems, and proactive operational plans.
- Implementing and maintaining operational and maintenance standards aligned with global standards.
- Coordinating department activities to ensure maintenance and operational efficiency.
- Driving facility development initiatives for future improvements.
- Overseeing occupancy and management of guest houses, housing, and camps.
- Managing budget, costs, and material procurement.
- Ensuring quality support infrastructure for staff and partners.
- Leading with hands-on management, mentoring, and recognition of excellence.
