Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organization

Help build and execute the Account Marketing and Activation Plans for Zalando that deliver significant business growth and improvement in our Brand Health KPIs working in close co-operation with the Merch and Sales Teams, as well as the Central activation teams and Category BUs at adidas as well as key Zalando stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help define an aligned seasonal marketing calendar incorporating all relevant aspects of product, retail and brand activity focusing on football & outdoor (responsible categories may change)
  • Plan and execute with excellence the seasonal ‘Account Marketing Calendar’ setting meaningful KPI’s as well as being responsible for reaching them, as well as gathering learnings with each activation for the owned categories
  • Deliver and execute all campaigns to the overall brand strategy and roadmap
  • Strive for innovation and test and learn for each activation in your categories with all disciplines of brand activation
  • Be passionate about sports and the culture born from it, and be an active member of its communities
  • Stay on top of market, category, product and consumer trends within your categories and adjust your activation strategy and tactics according to your learnings
  • Measure the effectiveness of the account activation plans across all steps from calendar planning, campaign planning, execution and reporting
  • Conduct relevant reporting activities to measure effectiveness and efficiency of your campaigns reaching set out KPIs
  • Where appropriate support other teams in cross category projects
  • Represent the brand activation point of view both internally and externally
  • Responsible and accountable for the execution and implementation process for tool kits needed from briefing customer requirements to deployment
  • Closely co-operate with Global and Local Brand teams and BUs to secure a best practice level of implementation of global strategy and alignment as well as identifying synergies and collaboration opportunities
  • Manage budgets and costs within agreed measures
  • Understand the Central and European consumer retail environment including distribution points, share of buy, competitor concepts and support tools
  • Accountable and responsible for the visibility to all markets of brand activation to relevant country and global teams through process management and communication process

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
