Wacker Chemie is seeking a Management Trainee in Chemistry to embark on an 18-month program across various departments. Launch your career as a ManagementTrainee in Chemisty for assignments e.g. at our
Burghausen, Munich (Bavaria) or/and Nünchritz (Saxony)site starting in October 2025.
Our 18-month management trainee program will introduce you to various departments and opportunities for development and integrate you into our day-to-day business.
Your responsibilities
Quickly acquire a broad range of expertise in the areas of silicone specialty products as well as polymer binders and additives in our core markets
Development of market knowledge and know-how about customers, technologies, products and competition
Identify new technical requirements and trends in our core markets, especially with an eye to sustainability
Develop new ways of approaching solutions and processes for work sequences and organization
Contribute to new ideas for products and processes geared toward a sustainable product portfolio and suitable for a wide range of customer needs and applications
Advance a variety of projects in the fields of silicone, polymer andorganic chemistry (research, technology management, application technology, production)
Your qualifications
Outstanding performance in the completion of a Ph.D. in chemistry
International experience (study abroad, etc.) and enjoy networking
A project mindest and a passion forinterdisciplinary teamwork
A talent for communication and an outstanding abilityto apply your expertise to the search for sustainable solutions
Excellent German and English (level C1) skills
Willingness to travel for domestic and international project assignments
