A globally recognized financial services firm is seeking a Territory Director to establish and lead their new Madrid office. The successful candidate will be responsible for office operations, team management, and brand development, requiring strong experience in local operations and regulatory knowledge. We are looking for a Territory Director for a globally recognized and fast-growing NASDAQ-listed financial services firm in Spain. With a presence in over 10 European markets, including the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, and the UK, the company is expanding its footprint into Madrid to serve the rapidly growing Spanish investment market.
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned operations and brand leader to launch and lead a local office of a dynamic, internationally backed investment platform.
As the Director, you will be responsible for launching and managing the Madrid office, building a high-performance local team, ensuring legal and operational compliance, and growing the brand's presence in the Spanish financial market. Office & Operations :
Lead and oversee all office operations, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and company policies
Act as the official representative in front of the Spanish government and regulatory authorities
Brand & Market Presence :
Develop and execute local brand awareness strategies in collaboration with HQ marketing
Manage relationships with local media, influencers, and marketing partners
Team Management :
Recruit, onboard, and manage the local office team
Ensure team productivity and alignment with company culture and performance standards
Support ongoing professional development of team members
Monitor local investment trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities
Produce monthly reports on office performance and market analysis for senior leadership
Proven experience managing local offices or representative branches
Background in marketing / brand building is a plus
Strong knowledge of Spanish regulatory requirements for financial institutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent English and Spanish
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
