We have an exciting opportunity for a success-driven sales professional to fulfill the newly created role of Major Account Manager within our growing Sales organization in Germany.

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for consultative selling and solution development to address large enterprise customer needs within a selected list of Fortune 500 accounts.
  • Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities across the Arista product portfolio, including Data Centre and Campus Networking platforms, Cloud-based Wi-Fi and PoE switches, Arista Routing Platform, Cloud Vision (network automation & telemetry), DMF Fabric Monitoring, NDR Endpoint, and AI-driven Network Identity Management solutions.
  • Establish productive professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.
  • Create and execute targeted account plans in collaboration with partner managers and the sales engineering team.
  • Generate customer demand through pre-engagement planning, research, and solution alignment with their mission.
  • Manage and prioritize business objectives from Year 1 to Year 3 within the account territory.
  • Develop a marketing plan aligned with the targeted accounts and territory.
Qualifications

You are a driven sales leader with a proven track record of pursuing and closing large deals within enterprise organizations. You will possess:

  • At least 10 years of sales experience with a focus on developing large Fortune 500 customers in the German market.
  • Working knowledge of selling networking equipment (Router, Switch, SDN, SDWAN, Campus Networks, Network Virtualization, NFV), data center, and/or network automation solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS in CS, BBA) or equivalent; MBA is desirable.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Currently residing in Germany; this role is home-based and does not offer relocation assistance.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to guide internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience navigating end-user requirements through contracting and resale processes.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to build business plans, document processes, and exceed sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory to meet with customers and partners.

Remote Work: This is a home-based/field role.
