Job summary

DocMorris AG, at our modern logistics hub in Heerlen, seeks skilled technicians to maintain, repair, and optimize conveyor and material handling systems, ensuring reliable dispatch of medications and healthcare products. You will troubleshoot, install components, and collaborate on upgrades, with safety and efficiency at the forefront.

The role requires vocational training in related fields and experience in automated warehouse environments. German and English are good; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in industrial mechanics or related field.
• Professional experience, ideally in maintenance within a logistics or automated warehouse environment.
• Comfortable working at heights and willing to work in a 2-shift model including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems as well as mechatronic and electro-pneumatic equipment
• Professionally install mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
• Detect technical faults early and resolve them independently
• Collaborate with external contractors on new installations and upgrades
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement
• Read technical drawings and wiring diagrams as easily as the daily weather report

At our modern logistics hub in Heerlen, you will maintain, repair, and optimize our conveyor and material handling systems – ensuring the dependable dispatch of medications and healthcare products.

Your Responsibilities – Full of Technical Variety

• Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems as well as mechatronic and electro-pneumatic equipment
• Professionally install mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
• Detect technical faults early and resolve them independently
• Collaborate with external contractors on new installations and upgrades
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement
• Read technical drawings and wiring diagrams as easily as the daily weather report

What You Bring to the Role

• Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician (m/f/d), or equivalent qualification
• Professional experience, ideally in maintenance within a logistics or automated warehouse environment
• Comfortable working at heights (no fear of climbing / working on elevated conveyor platforms)
• Working knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens S7 / TIA Portal) is an asset
• Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and a structured way of working
• Good German and English skills – Dutch is a plus
• Flexibility and willingness to work in a 2-shift model (early and late shifts) as well as occasional weekend shifts (maximum twice a month, Saturday or Sunday)
