Job summary

Teampicnic is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d) for our upcoming Fulfilment Center in Berlin/Brandenburg (Falkensee). You will keep material handling equipment running at peak performance, solve malfunctions, and implement improvements while coaching junior colleagues to ensure orders reach families on time daily.

You should have a technical degree and 7+ years in a technical/maintenance role, with hands-on electrical and mechanical expertise and CMMS/ICS/SCADA experience.

Qualifications

• Formal technical degree required (Ausbildung or Bachelor/Master in a technical field).
• 7+ years of experience in a technical or maintenance role.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, incl. measurement and camera systems.
• Experience with CMMS and ICS/SCADA software.
• Fluent in English and/or German.

In a Nutshell

As a Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d), you’ll work in our soon to open Fulfilment Center in Berlin/Brandenburg (Falkensee) with the latest intralogistics systems from top brands like Apollo, Qimarox, and Regal Rexnord. You’ll be responsible for keeping our Material Handling Equipment running at peak performance, solving malfunctions independently, and implementing improvements. Your insight and initiative are valued, and you’ll coach junior colleagues to elevate the team, ensuring tens of thousands of orders reach families on time every day. During your shift, you take full responsibility for the service and maintenance of our systems.

The tricks of the trade

• Troubleshooting malfunctions: You detect and resolve both electrical and mechanical issues in technical systems, working closely with our operational supervisors.
• Collaboration with suppliers: For complex problems, you work directly with machine suppliers to find solutions.
• Analysis and improvement: You analyze malfunctions, prevent recurrence, and implement structural improvements.
• Preventive maintenance: You perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure maximum system availability.

About you

• You hold a Ausbildung and/or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, mechatronics, automation, etc.)
• You have 7+ years of experience in a technical or maintenance role
• You have hands-on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including measurement and camera systems
• You have been working with software tools such as CMMS and/or ICS/SCADA tools
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating in a team
• At the same time, you are independent, take initiative, and solve problems in a goal-oriented way
• You're fluent in English and/or German
