Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain, operate, and repair buildings, equipment and systems across campus facilities.

Three years maintenance experience is required; two years healthcare maintenance can substitute for three. You may work varied shifts and travel between Moffitt facilities. A high school diploma is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred. A valid driver’s license and OSHA 10 will be needed within six months.

Summary

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of buildings, equipment and systems throughout the assigned facilities. Must possess the ability to perform general mechanical repairs. The Maintenance Technician II performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to cover all trades including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic tube, painting, carpentry and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

Salary Range

$27.63 - $42.18

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
