Maersk is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our site in Germany. You will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all equipment and facility systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key tasks include diagnosing faults, maintaining conveyors and automated systems, and coordinating with Operations, HSE, and external service providers.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years minimum experience in a logistics or automated industrial setting.
• Strong ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Familiarity with CMMS and diagnostic tools.

Aufgaben

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of logistics equipment (conveyors, sorters, automated systems, forklifts, pallet trucks, etc.).
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, or automated breakdowns quickly and restore equipment to service as soon as possible.
• Perform adjustments and checks to ensure the proper functioning of sorting or handling lines.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
• Record interventions in the CMMS and contribute to the analysis of recurring faults.
• Carry out all maintenance activities in accordance with health, safety, environmental, and company policies
• Work closely with Operations, HSE, Engineering, and external service providers.
• Support audits, technical inspections, and regulatory assessments.
• Report recurring issues and develop sustainable solutions.
• Communicate clearly regarding equipment status, risks, and required actions

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electromechanics, industrial electricity, and automation.
• Familiarity with automated logistics systems (a plus).
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and CMMS.
• Ability to work in dynamic and shifting environment
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
• Fluency in German and English
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail, responsibility, and a strong safety mindset
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Profile

• Education: Professional High School Diploma (Bac Pro MEI) or 2-year technical degree (BTS in Industrial Maintenance, Electrotechnics, MAI, etc.).
• Experience: 1–3 years minimum in a logistics or automated industrial environment.
