Required are 1–3 years in logistics or automated industrial settings, strong electromechanics knowledge, and the ability to read diagrams. Fluency in German and English is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all technical equipment and facility systems on site.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and carrying out repairs.
• The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment availability and operational safety.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of logistics equipment (conveyors, sorters, automated systems, forklifts, pallet trucks, etc.).
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, or automated breakdowns quickly and restore equipment to service as soon as possible.
• Perform adjustments and checks to ensure the proper functioning of sorting or handling lines.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
• Record interventions in the CMMS and contribute to the analysis of recurring faults.
• Carry out all maintenance activities in accordance with health, safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Work closely with Operations, HSE, Engineering, and external service providers.
• Support audits, technical inspections, and regulatory assessments.
• Report recurring issues and develop sustainable solutions.
• Communicate clearly regarding equipment status, risks, and required actions.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electromechanics, industrial electricity, and automation.
• Familiarity with automated logistics systems (a plus).
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and CMMS.
• Ability to work in dynamic and shifting environment
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
• Fluency in German and English

Profile

• Education: Professional High School Diploma (Bac Pro MEI) or 2-year technical degree (BTS in Industrial Maintenance, Electrotechnics, MAI, etc.).
• Experience: 1–3 years minimum in a logistics or automated industrial environment.
• Qualities: Reactivity, rigor, autonomy, analytical skills, and a strong sense of priorities.
