About the job:
Are you ready to contribute your experience and knowledge to a mega project (greater than €2 billion Capex program, including design/engineering budget exceeding €200 million) focused on designing and building new Insulin flex facilities? These facilities will address BLA (Biologics License Application) requirements as part of a program involving two new facilities in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and China.
You will manage all activities related to the implementation of Smart Maintenance Processes, from Basic Engineering to Detailed Design, for downstream building in the InsuLINK Program, ensuring compliance with EHS, Quality, Business, and User requirements. The focus will be on design-to-cost solutions and process replication for Glargine production in China.

Main responsibilities:
Collaborate: Participate in P&ID reviews, representing maintenance interests for Process, Clean Utilities, and HVAC systems. Validate equipment and instrument lists to prepare asset inventories.
Lead: Conduct global equipment ranking assessments for Criticality and Complexity with support from Reliability leaders. Deploy maintenance fundamentals based on these rankings, including FMECA, Short Maintenance Reviews, OEM recommendations, or run-to-failure modes.
Design and Deliver: Develop maintenance plans and spare part lists for each system following the defined strategy. Ensure availability of technical documentation and compliance with the iShift data model, supported by the CMMS key user.
Build and Sustain: Establish and maintain high-performance external teams to support the delivery of maintenance plans and spare parts for equipment in the insulin downstream process building.
Provide support: Assist local facilities (CBRE) and lab equipment (Perkin-Elmer) managers in planning and scheduling activities within their scope.
About you
Experience: 5+ years in Pharmaceutical Process Maintenance/Reliability.
Skills: Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and EU guidelines; rigorous, organized, results-oriented; good technical knowledge in CMMS and industrial performance.
Education: Master’s degree in industrial engineering (Automation, Mechanical, Maintenance) or equivalent engineering diploma.
Languages: English (project language); additional languages are a plus, German is advantageous.
