Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and surrounding grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition with a presentable appearance.

Responsibilities include minor repairs, equipment maintenance, and assisting with supervisor duties as needed to ensure a well-run facility for residents and staff.

Qualifikationen

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls and ceilings.
• Repair beds, wheelchairs and geri-chairs; maintain electrical equipment.
• Service sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting and fire alarms.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers

• Changes filters on HVAC equipment

• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies

• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Posted Salary Range

USD $21.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr.
