What you will do

Become part of our agile Data team in Munich or Berlin, where we use AI and Machine Learning to help businesses take climate action.

  • You collaborate cross-functionally with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • You identify and evaluate GenAI / ML use cases to improve internal services and client-facing products.
  • You build and maintain robust GenAI / ML systems, including cloud infrastructure and monitoring.
  • You build, train, and deploy ML models focusing on benchmarking, recommendations, and forecasting of carbon footprint and emissions data.
  • You implement automated testing and monitoring techniques to ensure AI system accuracy and reliability.
  • You take full ownership of the technical workflow and manage related project responsibilities.
  • You stay updated on the latest AI advancements and promote Data Science and ML fundamentals within the Digital department.

Who you are

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a Machine Learning role (e.g., Data Scientist, Software Engineer, ML/AI Engineer), preferably in a startup or scale-up environment.
  • You have experience building and maintaining professional ML/GenAI systems at scale with a focus on reliability, validation, and monitoring.
  • You are proficient in ML methods like Regression, Classification, Time Series Forecasting, Recommendation, and Outlier Detection.
  • You have experience with Generative AI, including large language models, embeddings, and libraries like LangChain or Llamaindex.
  • You are highly skilled in Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and have experience with AWS.
  • You possess strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • You have excellent command of English.
