Responsibilities

1. Acquire and execute technology, development, and qualification projects in surface technologies, functional coatings, and corrosion protection.
2. Oversee test campaigns from planning to reporting, including sampling, testing, and review.
3. Prepare material and process specifications, as well as process and test instructions.
4. Provide consultation on design, stress analysis, quality, and manufacturing for material and process-related inquiries.
5. Coordinate and collaborate with material suppliers.

Qualifications

• Master's or diploma degree in chemistry, aerospace, or materials science.
• Experience in surface and coating technologies and corrosion protection.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry processes such as qualification, certification, and standardization.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Valid driving license (class B / 3) for business trips within Germany and Europe (approximately every 2 months, 2 days per trip).
• Fluent in German and English.
