PER, a leading German insurance broker group backed by a private equity investor, seeks an M&A associate to join its Düsseldorf holding team. The role offers hands-on exposure to live transactions and growth-driven responsibilities in an entrepreneurial, investor-led environment.

In this position, you will screen targets, run market analyses, support financial models and due diligence, and assist in negotiations and closing processes, collaborating with senior leadership and external partners.

Qualifikationen

• Multiple years of relevant experience in transaction services, M&A advisory, corporate finance, audit, corporate development or investment banking (analyst level).
• Experience in a PE-backed or acquisitive corporate environment is a strong plus; exposure to insurance or financial services is beneficial but not required.
• Solid financial modelling and valuation skills, strong analytical abilities and a high affinity for numbers.
• Structured, reliable way of working, clear communication and a high degree of initiative.
• Team player with a collegial mindset and a strong willingness to learn.
• Fluency in German and English.
