Jobbeschreibung

Job Title: Tractor-Trailer Driver

To operate tractor-trailer vehicles to designated locations safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.

1. Drive tractor-trailer between designated stations, maintaining freight movement within the scheduled time.
2. Pick up and deliver IP Heavyweight IP (IPFS) shipments.
3. Ensure proper security of the truck and onboard freight.
4. Maintain a daily log in accordance with corporate policy.
5. Use and maintain the company vehicle, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition, operated within FedEx policies and regulations.
6. Pre-inspect the loader, unloader, tug, and tractor-trailer.
7. Assist in sort and load operations as required.

Skills:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with proper equipment.
• Neat appearance.
• Good human relations skills.
• Ability to operate manual shift vehicles and loading/GSE equipment.
• Completion of all FedEx-related tests and training.

Qualifications:

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• All necessary driving permits for FedEx vehicles.
